In another great post from Brain Pickings the topic of remixes reigns again. “Everything is a Remix” is a video series by Kirby Ferguson about how remixes are everywhere. New isn’t always exactly new. Maybe new is just different?

The first video of the series Everything is a Remix wonderfully shows the history of the remix. It creatively shows how riffs of yesteryear have been redone and made new again in music of today! It is a very well made and narrated vid. Find out more on their website Everything is a Remix.
