On this day in 1989, a little show about nothing premiered on NBC. Then known as “The Seinfeld Chronicles“, this pilot began the show that would later become one of the most popular shows in television history!
Although the first test audience didn’t quite get it and claimed the show was “too New York” or that Jerry needed a “stronger supporting cast”, the show will live on as the greatest show about nothing!
