As Benjamin Franklin once said,

When applying filters in FCP, that quote is also true. Filter order is extremely important and can affect the overall look of your video. Just like how placement of video on the video tracks can affect your text or graphics, this is the same with filters. Filters, too, start at the top and affect everything down the list.
